1. How do I make a reservation?

2. Do the properties have a minimum night stay requirement?
During regular season most vacation home properties require a 3-5 night minimum stay rate. Condo properties 2-3 night minimum stay rate. 

3. Do prices fluctuate depending on season?
Rates for each property vary depending on season.  It is always best to contact us. We are here to assist you in getting the information you need. Allure Kauai feature properties to help guide you in the direction of selecting a rental property for your Kauai vacation. We work on island agencies to bring you the best options that are available. Rates and property information are subject to change without notice, and confirmed at the time of booking.

5. What is the check-in & check-out times?
 It is best to check your reservation agreement as it may be different for some properties. The information is usually provided with your arrival instructions.

6. What are the additional fees?
Additional fees may include, but not limited to; reservation fee, security damage waiver fee, pool heating, extra person, etc. 


8. What is included in the rental?
Homes include full kitchens, washer and dryer, bed linens, bath towels, & a start-up supply of paper products are provided. Beach gear such as chairs, umbrella, etc is usually provided for the guests, but not a guarantee. Other gear is optional. Please inquire. Maid service can be arranged in advance and subject to additional charges. Please inquire.

9. Do rental properties offer Internet access?
Wireless internet (WIFI) service is usually available.

10. Are weddings & special events allowed at the rental property?
Parties and/or special functions and events are strictly prohibited. This applies to most properties, unless otherwise noted. Please inquire for more information.

11. Are the rental rates determined by the number of people staying at a property?
Please be sure to provide the accurate number of guests traveling in your group. All properties have a max number of occupants. 

12.  What are the TVR numbers?  TVR (Transient Vacation Rental) numbers are county approved vacation rentals.  HI Tax ID or TAT # is the registered vacation rental tax identification number. Approved TVR List

13. How do I visit Ke'e Beach, Haena State Park, Napali Coast trailhead?

It is required to have a reservation to access this area. Reservations book up well in advance. To access please visit www.gohaena.com and secure your reservation.

14. What if my rental is located in a Tsunami Evacuation Area?

Please be sure that you review the House Rules and Evacuation Map and Information for the property that you reserved. Standard property information includes ; In an event a tsunami is detected as probable by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, the Office of Emergency Preparedness of the County of Kauai will make the same known by sirens. Please evacuate in accodance to the evacuation plan provided ot you prior to taking occupancy at your rental property or that is located in the Guest Information Guide on property. It is  strongly encourage you to read the plan prior to taking occupancy. 

15. How do I get road traffic information on Kauai?

16. What sunscreen should I pack or purchase for Hawaii vacation? 

For Hawaii, use mineral-based sunscreens containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as active ingredients, and avoid those with oxybenzone or octinoxate. It's also best to wear protective clothing like hats and rash guards. Hawaii has a law banning the sale and distribution of sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate to protect its coral reefs.  Please help us protect our ocean and coral reefs. 

17. Where to buy fresh produce, fruits, meats, and local crafts?

Visit the local Farmer's market near you. Not only will you be stoked. You will be happy to know that you're shopping and supporting local. Mahalo!

18. How do I enjoy my vacation on Kauai? 

You're so lucky! Kauai is a very special place. Arrive with gratitude. Relax, unwind, and really take this time to fully enjoy the moment. Smile and breathe. Take the time to notice the beauty that surround you. Look at the mountains, watch the palm trees sway and the changing ocean conditions. Sink your feet in the sand and jump in the ocean. It is so healing. You deserve to return home with a sense of peacefulness and appreciation.
